Gear Description

These touring boots have been used about 25 times, so not a lot of mileage on them yet. They have a couple light scuffmarks and light scratches, and show a little wear on the lettering in a few places (cosmetic only). But they are overall in great shape, very light wear on the bottoms and all buckles work as new. I recently got the Spirit 3s and don't need these boots anymore.

Here is a description of the boots from online: "The Scarpa Men's Spirit 4 Alipine Touring Boots blend freeride performance with classic alpine touring weight and comfort and are compatible with all AT bindings, including Dynafit. This freeride-oriented AT boot uses four buckles and a dual-density shell for optimum power transmission yet includes a hinged tongue for easy forward-flex while touring. Scarpa gave the Spirit 4 Boot a heel retention system for solid heel hold. For the really steep stuff, swap out the regular tongue for the super stiff ski tongue and experience even more driving power. Scarpa's Intuition Precision High inner boot uses medical-orthotic foam for a super comfy, supportive fit. Lightweight on the way up and still burly on the way down."

These boots came highly recommended to me as AT/randonee boots and I'm happy to pass on the recommendation. They're in great condition and have a lot of life left in them.

There are no insoldes (a $10 pair from Walmart would work fine or you can get a nicer custom pair of insoles like I did).

The scarpa Spirit 4 boots come with Scarpa Intuition heat moldable liners. Again from online:
